Went on a Tuesday to celebrate 15 years together with my husband.
The food was amazing and the view made the experience so luxurious! The restaurant was quiet, as expected for a Tuesday. I really enjoyed the scenery. However, the service was ok. Several times we needed to flag the waiter for service and it wasn't our original waiter. Only saw him for the bill. The outdoor chairs were also very uncomfortable. The food and the scenery made it worthwhile. Service was great and the food was outstanding. I would definitely go back with friends and family.
And so expensive for that quality. The decor, mostly white tufted leather seating and purple lights, was a little gaudy and outdated. We ordered tuna tartar and riblets as appetizers and a steak and osso buco for entrees.
Not only were the riblets and steak overcooked, but the quality of meat was poor for the price tag. The osso buco itself was okay but the risotto was masked with mascarpone and the broccoli rabe was way too greasy.
The truffle fries were probably the best part of the meal. Overall the food is WAY overpriced and the scenic waterside was the only redeeming part of our experience. The food was excellent singles de west new york nj restaurants the service, great.

Also loved that it wasnt noisy so we could engage in conversation. The waiter was very extremely helpful but not overbearing.
Would definitely recommend waterside. My girlfriend was taking away by the ambiance. We were celebrating our Anniversary. The service was flawless because it was late on a friday night a bit noisy but we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. Our waiter was exceptional and attentive eventhough it was very busy. The view of the city by the water breathtaking and set the mood for Amor! I highly recommend the place. Music was off the hook we couldn't stop dancing or finish eating our food because we couldn't sit long enough to do so, lol!

In the late evenings I'm told that the place is a big loud singles scene: I don't plan to find out by personal investigation. During the day and dinner hours it's very very pleasant inside or out. Our waiter was a marvel, a very admirable person. A date will be impressed I went with my family for Mother's Day brunch and will not be having brunch there again and here is why. The staff was very nice but the seating area was packed with too many tables and made maneuvering around a pain and this is especially noticeable and annoying with a brunch buffet.

There are not enough waiters. Our waiter was very nice but he was the only one for almost the entire area. I had dinner here a couple years ago and the food was fine and so was the service. They have changed the configuration of the space since and I don't know if that many tables is the norm or if that was only for the holiday.
Either way it was a poor management and space decision. For the price of the brunch will not be returning. We will be back but not for brunch.
I have been a patron for some time and while I love the location, as of lately that seems to be the only appeal. My visits have been declining, as the service isn't what it used to be. I took my family for Mother's day brunch and expected an assortment of great dishes.
For a party of 8, 6 adults and 2 children, the cost was not comparable to the service and variety. I love dining out and go to many expensive restaurants and don't mind paying if the service and quality is there.
Our waiter was less than pleasant, barely came to the table and almost seemed annoyed. Of course, with the size of our party, his tip was already included in the bill. Not an excuse for such an upscale restaurant. I will re-consider visiting this establishment. We arrived for a memorable Mother's Day dinner. It turned out to be not so memorable. We were seated on the outdoor folding chairs directly in front of the bar. Every time someone entered to go to the bar they stood behind our table.

I could not believe my eyes, that this was going on while patrons tried to eat their very expensive dinners. I'm very disappointed that I had to spend a precious Mothers Day in this manner. From the food to the drinks, the decor, the outside area, the view and most importantly the service is amazing.
